These terms create the foundation of our relationship with you as a CareyperkIns customer. They explain what we promise to deliver, what we expect from you, and how we'll handle different situations that might come up. Please read through them carefully before purchasing coverage.
By purchasing auto insurance from CareyperkIns, you're entering into a binding contract with us. This means both sides have responsibilities. We'll provide the coverage you pay for, and you'll give us accurate information and follow the policy terms.
If you don't agree with these terms, please don't buy our insurance or use our services. Using our website or purchasing a policy means you accept everything written here.
Honest information is the backbone of insurance. You need to provide truthful and complete details about yourself, your driving history, and your vehicle. If something changes during your policy period, like a new driver in your household or a different car, let us know right away.
You're responsible for paying your premiums on time and following safe driving practices. If you break the law while driving or use your vehicle for something not covered by your policy, we might not be able to help with claims from those situations.
You agree that you will keep your credentials strictly confidential. You are solely responsible for any activity on your account performed under your credentials, whether or not you authorized it. You must notify us immediately if you suspect or become aware of any unauthorized use of your credentials or any breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss, damage or liability resulting from unauthorized access to your account or misuse of your credentials if such access or misuse results from your failure to uphold the confidentiality of your credentials.
Your policy document spells out exactly what's covered and what's not. Pay close attention to the coverage limits and deductibles you've chosen, because those determine how much we'll pay for claims and how much you'll pay out of pocket.
Some situations aren't covered by any auto insurance policy, like intentional damage or using your personal vehicle as a commercial taxi without proper coverage. If you're not sure whether something is covered, just ask us before assuming.
When you need to file a claim, contact us as soon as possible after an incident happens. The faster you report it, the smoother everything goes. We'll guide you through what information we need and what happens next.
During a claim, you might need to provide documentation like police reports, photos, or repair estimates. We need this information to process your claim fairly and quickly. Not cooperating with our investigation could delay or deny your claim.
Your premium is due according to the payment schedule you chose when signing up. If a payment fails or arrives late, we'll try to contact you, but continued non-payment can lead to policy cancellation. We don't want that to happen, so please keep your payment information current.
Sometimes we need to adjust rates based on changes in your situation or broader insurance costs. If your rate changes, we'll notify you before it takes effect so you know what's coming.
You can cancel your policy anytime by contacting us. Depending on when you cancel and whether you've had any claims, you might be entitled to a refund for unused coverage. We'll explain the specifics when you call.
We can also cancel or choose not to renew your policy under certain circumstances, like fraud, non-payment, or serious violations. If this happens, we'll give you notice as required by law so you have time to find new coverage.
If we disagree about something related to your policy, we encourage you to talk with us first. Most issues get resolved through friendly conversation. If we can't work it out directly, your policy might include arbitration or mediation options instead of going to court.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where your vehicle is registered. Any legal proceedings would happen in that state according to its regulations.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect new services, legal requirements, or better ways of doing things. When we make changes, we'll notify you through email or your online account. Continuing to use our services after changes means you accept the new terms.
Major changes that significantly affect your rights will come with extra notice so you have time to review them and decide if you want to continue with us.
