Justin has a litigation practice in southwestern Idaho.  His practice includes insurance defense, personal injury, products liability, landlord/tenant disputes, guardianship of minors and incapacitated adults, and criminal defense.

Justin graduated from Concordia University School of Law before joining Perkins Mitchell Pope McAllister as an associate attorney.  During law school, Justin gained litigation and practice experience with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho, the Boise City Attorney’s Office, and Schaefer Law Firm.  In those positions, Justin practiced with a Legal Intern Limited License and tried cases in federal court as well as the magistrate court in the Fourth Judicial District in Ada County, Idaho.  While with Schaefer Law Firm, Justin handled immigration issues for clients with the United States Citizen and Immigration Services.  While in law school, Justin served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, and was ranked 5th in his graduating class.

Justin grew up in Imbler, Oregon and spent his adolescence working on his neighbor’s farm while being active in sports and other extracurricular activities.  He joined the United States Army after high school and served in two combat tours in Iraq as a Combat Engineer searching for and eliminating improvised explosive devices.  Justin received an honorable discharge from the Army in 2012 after receiving several decorations and awards for his service.

Between his deployments to Iraq, Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Boise State University in 2010 and graduated with honors.  While completing his undergraduate program, Justin was a member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.

After completing his Bachelor’s degree, Justin began a career as a Felony Probation/Parole Officer for the Idaho Department of Correction in the Fourth Judicial District located in Boise, Idaho.  In that capacity, Justin supervised a general offender population case load as well as all participants in the Ada County Veterans Treatment Court. Justin received the Idaho Department of Corrections Silver Star for his efforts an emergency situation in 2015.
